MONDAY MOTIVATION
So, everyone gets the Monday morning, get up for work, go to school blues. I get it, I do, used to hate Mondays until recently. I discovered a nice little way for me to be organised, so Mondays don't become a drag!
Step 1)
I always write a list, a list is the perfect way to be organised and not have to worry about forgetting to do something. Take me for instance, I forget the smallest of things to the biggest things. I have the best example I once forgot that I took time off work and I showed up anyway and was sent home! Yes I know, how stupid of me really. I was so embarrassed.
Step 2)
I like to sort my outfit out the day before if I can. My wardrobe at the moment is full of essential only items. Key items that go with everything and I mean everything. Like todays outfit is ripped jeans, a body, a long top/cardigan (even though its not wool) and pointed ballerina flats. Very simple, yet organised. This outfit I can team any accessory with and I love it.
Step 3)
Wash your hair. I know you may be thinking, 'wash my hair?' I do this anyway. Well I forget sometimes, I have a shower and sometimes forget to wash my hair and then the dry shampoo comes out, ready to help. I write on my list, wash my hair. So if I forget when I get out of the shower, I just head straight back their to wash my hair. I hate going anywhere with unwashed hair.
Step 4)
Pack your bag. I always pack my bag the night before. My bag contains: Wallet, notebook, pen, power bank, lead, umberella, small bag of makeup, lip balm, hand sanitizer, hand cream, perfume(roll on or small spray), deodorant. Then I place my keys and my phone by my bag. So I know everything is together.
Step 5)
Check the weather. Especially because England's weather is very unpredictable, It could rain and a minute later the suns out. Check the weather so you know the type of coat and accessories you will need to have with you.
Step 6)
If you are off to work or school, you'll need lunch. Pack a lunch and put it in the fridge the night before. Then leave your self a note reminding you to go get it on the morning.
This is my way to be motivated on a Monday morning, just organise the night before. Its easy. Well for me it is, I hope it can help you all out as well.
